Fashion is one of the few art forms that connects us all. Before we step into the world, we step into a garment. Every day, we make choices about what we wear, creating compositions that communicate who we are before we ever speak. At Forum 301, this exhibition invites us to consider those choices not simply as style, but as art.
Presented in celebration of Chicago Fashion Week, the exhibition brings together a dynamic selection of garments and fashion-based works that explore the intersection of creativity, craftsmanship, identity, and culture. From streetwear and avant-garde fashion to leatherwork, theatrical garments, lingerie, sustainable design, and experimental approaches, the exhibition highlights the many ways designers use clothing as a medium for artistic expression.

Forum 301 believes that artists often shape culture long before the rest of the world catches up.
